Whether an individual building or a complex of historic structures, Powers & Company, Inc. effectively completes the required documentation and advocates on behalf of the client to obtain a successful resolution to the compliance issue with the State Historic Preservation Office. Additional services include due diligence reports and façade easement applications.
Over the past seventeen years, Powers and Company, Inc. has successfully completed National Register of Historic Places and National Historic Landmark nominations in 11 states. Ranging from individual structures to multiple property submissions, as well as historic districts, Powers and Company, Inc. has developed the imperative expertise to effectively complete the challenging research and documentation work required for the nominations, which can vary from state to state.

With extensive experience both nationally and internationally, our materials conservation services have assisted in the restoration of such diverse and prominent landmarks as the Taj Mahal in India, the Arts and Industries Building of the Smithsonian Institution, Los Angeles City Hall and the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, PA. Specific services include materials conditions assessments, historic interiors consultation and materials testing and analysis.
